Hello, My name is Claudio Bras and I manage Marina Formosa, the centrally placed boatyard here in Portugal´s Algarve.
Myself and my crew offer a full complement of boatyard services and are located in Olhao, on the Ria Formosa only 8 KM from Faro airport in Portugal´s Algarve.. These services include Lifting and dry berthing arrangements, shower facilities, a public slipway, drying out facilities, storage ashore and winter lay up, electricity ashore and towing services within the Ria Formosa.
We are a working boat yard which carries out annual maintenance work including hoisting and craneage, boat cleaning, polishing and antifouling and have specialists in mechanical and electrical engineering, GRP services, yacht painting and traditional shipwright skills for the building and repair of wooden boats.
Situated just past the fishing harbour of Olhao, we are ideally placed for winter lay ups being only a short cab journy to the airport. The Ria Formosa itself is an area of outstanding natural beauty
